Why Unity Christian Church?
- Love: Demonstrated by kindness in communications and actions. Being unselfish and with compassion, putting the needs of others before self. Scriptures: John 13:34 & 35, 1 Corinthians 13, Matthew 22: 37-39
- Truth: We believe that Jesus and the Bible are the source of truth. It is our desire to know God's word, live God's word, and share God's word. Scriptures: John 14:6, and 2 Timothy 3:16 & 17.
- Serving: Demonstrated by serving in the home, in the church, and in the community. Scriptures: Matthew 9:35, Matthew 16:25, and Mark 10:45.
- Discipleship: Demonstrated by having a teachable spirit, willingness to share one's testimony, and fellowshipping with the goal to share the gospel at the appropriate time. Scriptures: Matthew 4:19, Matthew 28:19 & 20, and 2 Timothy 3: 10-15.
- A disciple of Jesus is one who is following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and is committed to the mission of Jesus.
