Lead Minister

David Miller was born in Chester, PA, and joined the United States Navy after graduating from high school. He was honorably discharged in December of 1993.

David would later attend Palm Beach Atlantic (Christian) University, and in 2012 he completed courses in pastoral leadership at the school’s Orlando campus. In 2014 he continued studies at the university, and in 2017 David graduated Summa Cum Laude after studying religion and psychology.

David married his beautiful bride, Dimara Miller, in 2009. They both came from broken homes and broken marriages. They share the pain of their past to help other couples learn from their mistakes and know the power of God’s grace!

David joined Kissimmee Christian Church in 2016; where Jim Book was the senior minister, David served faithfully with his wife for six and a half years. He preached when needed, taught Sunday School to the 11th and 12th graders, lead a life group in his home on Friday nights, went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, and taught a class called “The Fight Club” where men learn to be the Priest of their home, the Protector of their home, and a Provider in their home.

Helping men avoid some of the mistakes he has made over the years, is at the top of what motivates David in ministry. In 2022, David and Dimara moved to Zephrhills Florida, where David served faithfully as the associate minister under the leadership of Jonathan “Keith” Smith for a year and a half, and led the congregation during Keith’s two and and a half months sabbatical. During that time, God reignited David’s passion to plant a church.

In 2024, Fairway Christian Church reached out to David to discuss a potential partnership with them and Florida Church Planters. David and Dimara successfully completed the church planter assessment program provided by Passion for Planting in Chantilly, VA. That led to the birth of Unity Christian Church in Leesburg, Florida.

Kevin Baker is a passionate worship leader and musician dedicated to creating meaningful worship experiences that draw people closer to God. With years of ministry and musical experience, Kevin has served in various leadership roles, including Worship Leader at Kensington Church Windermere, FL (2018–2020) and Youth Leader at Kensington Church (2017–2021). 

He currently leads worship for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Lake-Sumter College (2023–2025) and served as a worship guitarist at The Cross Church in Mt. Dora (2022–2024).

In addition to his ministry work, Kevin runs his own private teaching studio, offering guitar and bass lessons to students of all ages. His passion for music education is fueled by a desire to help others grow in both skill and confidence, whether they’re just starting out or looking to deepen their musical craft. 

Dimara was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Connecticut with her family when she was ten years old. One year later, a neighbor asked if he and his wife could take her to church. Dimara accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, at the age of eleven.

She moved to Florida at the age of twenty-one, to be near her father. She was a single mother of three, looking for a fresh start. This start included leaving the Pentecostal church and attending a non-denominational church. 

Dimara became a successful Realtor, Mortgage Broker, and Zumba instructor. In 2009, she married David Miller, the “love of her life”. They have a blended family that consists of seven children (two in Heaven), and thirteen grandchildren.

In 2010, her husband was ordained, and they started the Greater Harvest Christian Church in Kissimmee Florida. Dimara was a tremendous help to her husband, serving as the Sunday School teacher, and the worship leader. 

From 2016 to 2023, Dimara assisted her husband in leading life groups, teaching “Love and Respect” classes, teaching Sunday School to the 11th and 12th graders (at Kissimmee Christian Church) and providing counsel to countless couples. 

Dimara currently serves as the Director of the Children’s Ministry and her passion for Jesus and children are seen by all who get to know her.

Kristen was born in New Jersey and has always had a heart for serving others. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in psychology from Dominican University and has spent much of her life encouraging, supporting and connecting with people from all walks of life.

Kristen and her husband, Kevin became actively involved in ministry in 2018. Through her love of Jesus and her passion for communication, she discovered a calling to help churches and organizations share the hope of the living Word in meaningful and creative ways. 

For many years, Kristen has served in various ministry roles including worship leadership, hospitality,y outreach, event planning and community engagement. She is also a bass player on the worship team and enjoys helping people feel welcomed, valued and connected.

As Communications Director at Unity Christian Church, Kristen overseas social media, digital communications, promotional materials, website content, and community outreach efforts. She is passionate about using modern communication tools to help people discover the love of Jesus Christ and find a loving church family where they can grow in their faith. 

Kristen and her husband, Kevin have been married since 2008 and are dedicated to serving the Lord together, Her heart for encouragement, creativity and authentic connection is evident in everything she does as she helps share the message that at Unity Christian Church, EVERYONE is welcome and EVERY person matters.
